(from Walnut Hill) Annie Rumley was born January 15, 1862 and was married to Huston Rumley forty-five years ago. To this union was born 12 children, 7 girls and five boys, nine of whom are living. Mrs. Rumley died April 24th. The girls present at the funeral were Mrs. Francis Isom, who lived near her parents; Mrs. Rose Richey of Neosho, Mo.; Mrs. Joe Dye of Mounds, Okla.; Miss Lily Rumley of Boynton, Okla.; Mrs. Ora Lee Carter of Joplin, Mo. Albert, who lives in Kansas City was unable to be present. Fred, the youngest son, was present. She leaves her aged husband, 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild, two brothers. four sisters and a host of friends to mourn her loss. Funeral services were held at Walnut Hill by Evangelist B.R. Williams. We extend sympathy in this time of sorrow and trouble.

Huston Rumley has divided his property among his children since the death of his wife and will leave for Oklahoma soon. We regret to lose Mr. Rumley from our community.
