RICH, Rebecca Bond Moore - (from Walnut Hill, for last week) Our people were thrown into sadness Monday when they learned that Mrs. Tim Rich of Bestwater had died some time after midnight Sunday. She was 62 years old and had never had a doctor called to treat her in her long life and died without the family knowing of her ailments. She will be remembered as Mrs. Joe Moore of Mountain View some years ago. An unusually large crowd attended her funeral at Walnut Hill Christmas day at 2:00 o'clock. After a brief funeral service by George Williams the remains were laid to rest in the Walnut Hill cemetery.

(from Mountain View) Christmas was very sad owing to the death of Mrs. Rebecca Rich of Bestwater. She lived in this neighborhood until two years ago. She died Monday morning and was buried Christmas day. Her daughter, Mrs. L.A. Slinkard, and her son, Bart Bond, lived here. One son, John Bond, lives in Kansas City and the other son in California. She was a good Christian woman and will be missed in her church work and she was so good to wait on the sick. She leaves her husband, T.M. Rich, of Bestwater and a granddaughter, Gladys Buckmaster, besides her children and a host of friends to mourn.
