Maurice Edwin Farley, 51, Bella Vista, died Monday afternoon at the Veterans Hospital at Fayetteville. He was born Oct. 10, 1924 at Hatch, N.M.

He spent several years in California, coming to the Sulphur Springs area in 1973 and to the Bella Vista area in 1974. He was a welder. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Farley, of the home; his parents, C. E. Farley, Miami, Ariz., and Mary Helen Hudson, Gravette; two sons, David Black, Merrian, Kan., and Dan Black, Lawrence, Kan.

Graveside services and burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the G.A.R. Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, with Rev. Winfred Bridges officiating, with military rights. Services will be under the direction of Callison-McKinney Funeral Home of Bentonville.
