FISHER, J.A. - J.A. Fisher, aged veteran, died at his home in Gravette Saturday, Feb. 1st after an illness of several years. He was 81 years old. Mr. Fisher had been a resident of Gravette for a score of years and spent most of his time farming, retiring some years ago. Funeral services were held for him at the Methodist church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and conducted by the Rev. T.J. Justice. Burial was made in the Dow Cemetery west of Gravette. Ssurviving are two sons, Ernest and Glen, both of whom life in Gravette.

FISHER, Nancy Jane - Mrs. Nancy Jane Fisher, wife of John Fisher, who has been in poor health for some time, died Saturday Oct. 20, 1917, aged 64 years. She was born in Switzerland County, Ind. Aug. 18, 1853 and was married to John Fisher July 22, 1866. To this union were born 5 children, 3 of which and the husband survive. Rev. R.L. Jackson conducted the funeral services Sunday and burial took place in Dow cemetery that afternoon. A large crowd gathered to pay last respects. The community offers sympathy to the bereaved family.
