ROGERS — April 2, 2017, at the age of 65, Timothy Z. Fisher of Rogers, Ark., passed away. He was born Oct. 16, 1951, in Houston, Texas, the son of William Evans and Lanora Louise Kolling Fisher.

He was survived by his wife Janet Louise Lochmann Fisher; his daughter Brandi and her husband Chris and grandson Taggart Ashby Rushton of Fayetteville; his siblings Kay Brodine, Bert and Todd Fisher and families.

Tim was a jack of all trades. With his mechanical engineering background he invented and patented a valve for a two cycle engine which is still in use today delivering natural gas to pipeline stations globally. If something was broken, Tim could fix it.

His athletic abilities and love for baseball led him to be an accomplished baseball pitcher in his youth. He enjoyed traveling. Some of his best travel memories were in Costa Rica. He loved hunting and the great outdoors. Music brought great joy and light to his heart. Anyone who ever met Tim could tell you how well he could share his life stories. He could capture an audience with his rich, detailed descriptions as if you were part of the moment. Tim was a most generous kind-hearted protector.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at the Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th Street, Rogers, Ark. Online condolences to www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com.
