Ralph W. Barnett was born in Box Butte County, Nebraska Aug. 3, 1888 and died at his home west of Gravette Feb. 29, 1920. He was married to Bessie Scoggins at Green Briar, Ark. in 1912. Was converted at the age of 20 and united with the Methodist church, later withdrawing and with his wife united with the Holiness church at Decatur. He leaves a wife, two adopted children, Kenneth and Leslie, his father, mother, three brothers and three sisters, two brothers having preceded him in death. He was buried at Dow Cemetery.

{from Gravette} Mr. and Mrs. Roy Spence of Pittsburg were called here on account of the death of Mrs. Spence's brother, Mr. Barnett, who died Sunday at his home west of town.
