Godwin
SAFFELL — Nova Ophelia Godwin, 98, of Saffell died Wednesday, May 23, at Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge.
Born at Saffell, she was a homemaker and a member of the Rosebud Assembly of God in Saffell.
Survivors include two brothers, Claude Godwin of Many, La., and Jewel T. Godwin of Saffell; and one sister, Nona Eagan of Black Rock. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Rosebud Assembly of God in Saffell. Burial will follow in Godwin Cemetery in Saffell, under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Service of Walnut Ridge.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
