Joe Samuel Goode, 50, passed away Monday, November 10, 2008 in Conway at his home. He was born October 26, 1958 in Harrison, Arkansas. He was the son of Patsy Goode of Conway and the late Noah Ezra Goode, Jr. He was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Scott Goode who died in 1953.

He graduated from Conway High School and went on to graduate fom UCA with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. He was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. He worked in the medical equipment sales field for 20 years. Joe was a talented musician and vocalist, especially with the guitar. He was a loving son and father. He will be greatly missed by his family.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Miller) Goode of Conway; daughter, Katherine Goode of Conway; son, Matthew Goode of Fayetteville; his mother, Patsy Goode of Conway; sister, Susan Moore and her husband, John; nephew, Jason Glazebrook; niece Christie Oliver; sister-in-law, Tammy (Miller) Lorince and husband Tommy of Fayetteville; nieces, Ashley and Emily Lorince.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the funeral home from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, November 13, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway with the Rev. Charles Murry of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery at Holland under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway. 501-327-7727.

Pallbearers are Wayne Moore, Leo Wilcox, Stuart McConell, Dave Dunseath, Freddie Harroldson, Steve Dixon, and Scott Carpenter. Honorary Pallbearers are Greg Wren, Stanley Russ and Gary Dew.
