Joe H. Hunt, 77, of Fort Smith died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2005, in a local hospital. He was a dock foreman for the Farmer's Co-op, a member of Temple Baptist Church, superintendent of Sunday school and chairman of the deacons. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Temple Baptist Church with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith under the direction of Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith. He is survived by his wife, Joy; a son, Gary Hunt of Springdale; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jimmy, David, Casey and Heath Borum, Mack Cochran and Mark Daniels. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Temple Baptist Church.

Joy L. Hunt, 86, of Fort Smith, AR passed away on Friday June 29, 2012 in a local hospital.

She was a retired secretary and member of Temple Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Hunt and one son, Gary Hunt.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 2, 2012 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with private burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Fort Smith.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law Sheila Hunt of Springdale, AR; two grandchildren, Jennifer Hunt and Travis Hunt both of Springdale; three great-grandsons, Colton and Preston Wiedebuch both of Springdale and Rilee Hunt of Springdale; one sister, Janie Daniels of fort Smith.
