Harlan B. Hunt, 81, of Fort Smith died Monday, May 5, 2003, in Fort Smith. He was a retired carpenter, a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, served as the assistant Scout Master for Troop No. 6 of the Boy Scouts of American for many years and was an active participant in Arts and Crafts. He served in the Army during World War II. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Roselawn cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. He is survived by his wife, Marguerette Hunt of Fort Smith; a daughter, Dana and husband, Don Davenport of Fort Smith; three sons, Barney and wife, Jo Hunt of Farmington, Fred Hunt of Charleston and Phillip and wife, Valerie Hunt of Mustang, Okla.; a sister, Ruth Quattrucci of Coventry. R.I.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be Builders Sunday school class of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 4100 Grand Ave., Fort Smith, AR 72904.

Peggy Hunt, 82, of Fort Smith died Thursday, March 10, 2005, in a local nursing home. She was born April 17, 1922, in Ione. She was a retired registered nurse, a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and the widow of Harlan Hunt.
