Robert Dale Brown, 73, of Yarborough Community near Ashdown, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock.

He was born Sept. 24, 1943 in Boughton, Ark., to the late Odis Dorth Brown and Mary Christine Smith Brown Wesson.

Survivors include: his wife of 54 years, Shirley Ann Presson Brown also of Yarborough; a son, Rob Brown and wife, Janie, of Hampton; a daughter, Patricia Young and husband, Tim, of Texarkana, Ark.; a sister, Kay Sirmon of De Queen; two brothers, Ronnie Brown of Hope, and Danny Brown of Monticello; also grandchildren.

Services were Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Nashville Funeral Home with Wallace Edger officiating. Interment followed in Piney Grove Cemetery near Prescott under the direction of Nashville Funeral Home. The family received friends Friday night at Nashville Funeral Home.
