Ann Davis, age 66, of Warren, Arkansas died Monday, October 29, at Wilmar, Arkansas from injuries suffered in an auto accident. She was born June 20, 1946 at Warren, Arkansas a daughter of Lathan Stedman, Warren, Ark. and the late Myra Thomason Stedman. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, received her education in the Warren Public School system, was a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Monticello and held a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She was a member of the Council for Exceptional Children. She was a retied special education teacher for the Star City Public School System with 30 years of service.
Surviving in addition to her father is her husband Don Davis whom she married on April 13, 1968 at Warren; 1 son Ed Davis, Auburn, Ala; 2 daughters Myra Davis, Warren, Ark. and Carrie Wells, Bentonville, Ark; a sister Vickie Fox, Warren, Ark; 3 grandchildren Alexander Wells, Christheana Wells and Benjamin Davis.
Graveside services were 2:00pm Friday, November 2, at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. David Richey officiating. T.J. Files was soloist. Arrangements were by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Wade Berry, John George, Mike Walker, Tim West, Gary Reep, Eddie Davis and Blair Brown.
