Hunlin "Sheryl" Westfall, age 72, of Hot Springs, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 3, 2016. She was born on October 6, 1943 in Hot Springs, the daughter of A.H. Robbins and Dorothy Halsell Robbins. On February 27, 1965, she married James Michael "Westy" Westfall who preceded her in death on April 22, 2015. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Sheryl was a homemaker and a member of Winan Missionary Baptist Church. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years and a devoted pastor's wife, serving alongside her husband as he pastored churches in Arkansas and Mississippi. She was also a member of Lakeview Ladies Auxiliary in Corinth, Mississippi.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, her brother and sister-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends.
Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, July 7, 2016 in the Winan Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Russ Norman, Bro. Joe Hellums and Bro. Herbert Watts officiating.
Interment will be in Morning Star Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday evening, at the funeral home.
