James Donald Phillips, 79, of North Little Rock went to be with the Lord and his loving wife Mary of over 60 years, Saturday, September 22, 2012.
Don was born in Holly Grove, AR to the late John F. and Addie Skinner Phillips.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; recently by his wife, Mary J. Phillips; sister, Faith Everette and brother, Jack Phillips.
Don has been actively serving Citizens Fidelity Insurance Company as Director of the Employee Benefits Division for nearly a quarter century. Don has been awarded and recognized for decades for his achievements and contributions to Citizens Fidelity as well as his service and contributions to the Insurance Profession for more than half of his life.
Don was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church. Don's greatest passion was his family. He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was an avid Razorback fan. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Mary Jeanette Phillips, 76, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, September 11, 2011 with her family at her side.
She was born to the late Willie Andrew and Ruth Cook Murtishaw in Holly Grove, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister Willie Faye Douglas.
Mary was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church. She retired as a Court Clerk with the Pulaski County Courts. Her greatest passion was her family. She was an avid Razorback Fan and loved her crossword puzzles. She was a loving and caring, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James Donald Phillips; two sons, Donnie Phillips and wife, Michele of Sherwood, John Phillips and wife, Tina of North Little Rock; one daughter, Terrie James and husband, Danny of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Keith James, Jr. and wife, Lisa, Andrew Phillip and wife, Rachael, Wes Phillips and Olivia Phillips; two great-grandchildren, Danny James, III and Genesis James; two sisters, Virginia Page and Lois Spurlock; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd. North Little Rock, AR (501-791-7400) with Reverend Ken Shaddox officiating. Entombment will follow at Riverwood Memorial Gardens, Maumelle, AR.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Soaring Wings Children's Ranch, P.O. Box 1670, Conway, AR 72033
