Gertrude Dixon, 96, of Fort Smith died Saturday, April 26, 2003, in Fort Smith. She was a member of Van Buren Church of Christ and a homemaker. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Woodlawn Memorial Chapel with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith. She is survived by five daughters, Dorothy House of Van Buren, Freda Dunn, Janet Goforth and Joyce Branham of Fort Smith and Ora Lee Taylor of Pocola; 17 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
