Lena Ann Turner, age 74, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on June 26, 2024. She was born in Washington D.C. on December 2, 1949 to parents Nicholas Palmer and Margaret (Jenkins) Palmer who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her brother Richie Palmer.

Lena is survived by her husband of 54 years James Turner; two children Lorie Davis (Sam) and Bryan Turner (Holly); four grandchildren Heath Davis, Samantha Leonard (Alex), Eli Turner, and Leo Turner; one great-grandchild Tatum Leonard; her brother Ralph Palmer; along with a host of extended family and many cherished friends.

Lena worked for the Pulaski County Special School District for 21 years as a Paraprofessional. She was a very loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Lena was happiest when she was with her family and her very dear friends. She enjoyed working in her yard and keeping it beautiful. Lena was loved by many and will be missed by all she held close to her heart.

A memorial service will be held to honor Lena’s life on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 2:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
