Helen Marie Richardson Turner, 71, of Little Rock, died June 23, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and a brother.

She is survived by her husband O.D. Turner; three daughters, Lisa Hunke (Bernie) of West Point, Nebraska, Shauna Prince of Denton, Texas, and Misty Thornton (Terry) of Bauxite, AR; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Helen was born in Big Flat, Arkansas, on August 2, 1941, to Ray and Esther Richardson.

God, family and church were the primary focus’ of her life. Before retiring she was a high school Business Education teacher. Helen was strong in her Christian faith and never failed to be involved in church and Christian fellowship.

A celebration of Helen’s life is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Life Unlimited Christian Fellowship, 7001 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas (501)224-8300.

Burial will be at Riverwood Memorial Gardens, 301 Carnahan Drive, Maumelle, Arkansas.

The family asks, in lieu of flowers, that memorials be made to Life Unlimited Christian Fellowship, 7001 Colonel Glenn Rd, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204; Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116; or Heifer International, 1 World Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas 72202.
