Reba Nadine Cooper Clanton, age 84, of Greenville, MS. died Sunday January 20, 2013 at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville. Born June 10, 1928 in Bradley County, AR. a daughter of the late Robert Gibb Cooper and Rosa Ida Carter Cooper she was a retired sales clerk for Johl and Bergman, a 1946 graduate of New Edinburg, AR. High School and a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Also, preceding her in death were brothers James Alex Cooper, Rufus Clyde Cooper, William Earl Cooper and a sister Laura Cooper Herring.
Survivors are her husband Dan Murvin Clanton whom she married May 10, 1952. 1 son Delton M. Clanton and spouse Kay, Greenville, MS. 1 brother Jerry Cooper, Raleigh, N.C. 1 grandson William Matthew Clanton and spouse Jessica, Greenville, MS.
Funeral services were 11:00 a.m. Thursday January 24, at Harmony Baptist Church in Greenville, MS. with Rev. Stephen Ramsey officiating. Musicians were Jessica Clanton and Randall Herring. Burial was 3:30 p.m. Thursday January 24, in Moseley Cemetery near Warren, AR. by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Matthew Clanton, Wylie Martin, Billy Clanton, Gary Whitt, Caleb Walsh, Roger Lephiew, Randall Herring, James Hunter, Ronnie Lanier and Eldon Sawyer.
