Dorothy Collins Griffith, 94, of Hamburg died Saturday, August 1, 2015 at her residence in Hamburg. Mrs. Griffith was a native and lifelong a resident of the Promise Land Community and Hamburg. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Griffith and Bernard Stell; a grandson, Stephen Stell; her parents, T.T. Collins Sr., and Dulla Higginbotham Collins; six brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Hudson Rush and husband, Jim, of Hamburg; two sons, Charles Stell and wife, Lynda, of Crossett and Michael James Griffith and wife, Brenda, of Hamburg; 9 grandchildren, Jerry, Glen, Karen, Rhonda, Dawn, Jonathan, Mandy, Michael Paul and Matthew; 12 great-grandchildren, Amber, Megan, Justin, Melanie, Kaylee, Chance, Brianna, Blake, Brenlie, Jacey, Rylie,Alex, Delani and Braxton and 4 great-great-grandchildren, Lakota, Kyleigh, Addy and Jett.

Funeral services are 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2015 in the chapel of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home with Dr. Bobby Pennington and Rev. Kelly Clarke officiating. Burial will be in the Promise Land Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jerry Stell, Glen Stell, Michael Paul Griffith, Matthew Griffith, Chance Sivils and Trey Carter. Honorary pallbearer is Jonathan Griffith. Memorials may be made to the Promise Land Cemetery Association, c/o JoAnne Sullivan, 318 Ashley 131 Road, Hamburg. AR 71646.

Visitation will be 6-8 Monday at the funeral home.
