Mr. Dyane Griffith, 50, of Star City, formerly of Hamburg, died Monday, October 25, 1999, at the University Medical Center in Little Rock. A native of Dermott, he was a retired truck driver and a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Brenda Vaughn Griffith; his parents, Jess and Etta Curtiss Griffith; three brothers, Gerald, Thomas and Archie Griffith; and three sisters, Ruby Hayes, Rita Hendrix and Patsy Enlow. Survivors include his wife, Martha Griffith of Star City; two sons, Dewayne Griffith of Star City and Jessie Griffith of Port Arthur, TX; two daughters, Corean Griffith of Star City and Liz Rangle of El Dorado; four stepdaughters, Thelma Sullivan of Dumas, Dorothy Trigleth of Eudora, Mary Peterson of Hamburg and Frankie Burral of Seminole, TX; a brother, Lonnie J. Griffith of Fountain Hill; five sisters, Inez Lindsey of Camden, Edith Hendrix of Bastrop, LA, Irene Shattuck of Pittsburgh, KS, Frieda Prosser of Rangley, CA, and Marie Meredith of St. Paul, CA; and five grandchildren. Grave-side services were at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 28, at the Carlock Cemetery with Rev. Charles Pullin officiating. Arrangements were by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg.
