March 12, 1945 - February 21, 2024

Connie Kay Brannon, 78 of Smithville, passed from this life on February 21, 2024, at The Springs of Batesville.

She was born March 12,1945, in Walnut Ridge, AR to the late Zeek & Wilma (Sanders) Rider. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church and a retired schoolteacher of 42 years.

Connie is survived by her husband of 61 years, William Brannon; 2 daughter, Lisa (Jackie Crews) Smith & Kara (Rob) Britton; granddaughter, Paige Britton; 4 grandsons, Trevor Jines, Rhett Crafton, Reed Crafton & Carson Britton and great granddaughter, Kennedy Jines.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Dena Crafton.

Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Leroy Holm, Danny Davis, Randy Davis, Jerry Vance, Billy Doyle and Carl Alls.

Honorary Pallbearer, David Davis.

Visitation will be Saturday February 24, 2024, from 10:00AM-11:30AM with the funeral service beginning at 11:30AM at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Lynn, AR with Vance Penn & Andrew Turner officiating.

Internment will be at Dry Creek Cemetery in Lynn, AR.

All services are under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Homes of Walnut Ridge & Lynn, AR.
