Newton Brannon the son of Charles M. Brannon and Jewell Erolia Ann (Young) Brannon Ashlock. Isophene Melva (Counts) Brannon Brannon the daughter of William Isaac Counts and Mary Ann (Jones) Counts.

CONWAY -- Isophene Brannon, 83, of Conway died Friday, Nov. 14, at Conway Regional Medical Center.

Formerly of Alicia, she was a homemaker and a member of the Cadron Ridge Baptist Church in Conway.

Survivors include three daughters, Pat Martin of Conway, Mary Chastain of North Little Rock and Sharon Thomas of Wooster; two sons, Kermit Brannon of Little Rock and Charles Brannon of Conway; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Isiaac and Mary Ann Jones Counts, seven brothers and a sister.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. at the Strangers Home Cemetery near Alicia, with James Wilson officiating. Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
