Springdale -- Charles McGarrah, 84, of Butler, Mo., died this morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mozelle O'Neal in Springdale. He was born Feb. 20, 1880, in Springdale and was a retired farmer and a member the Baptist Church.
Survivors include six other daughters, Mrs. Flossie Henry, Mrs. Ruth Hall of Rogers, Mrs. Vesta Cox of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Polly Thompson of Springdale, Mrs. Burleen Ball of Baxter Springs, Kan. and Mrs. Dorothy Mitchell of Elm Springs; three sons, Lester of of Oklahoma City, George L. of Albuqurque, N.M. and Charles Leo of Springdale; one brother, Dallas of Idaho; 26 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren and two great- great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Callison-Sisco Chapel: burial in Friendship Cemetery.
