GEORGE MCGARRAH JR.
George McGarrah Jr., 70, Bentonville, died July 3 in a Bentonville nursing home. Born March 12, 1904 in Springdale, he was the son of George and Mary Preston McGarrah and a member of the Holiness Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Helen Carlisle, Greenland, one stepdaughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Owens, Fayetteville; three step-sons, Henry McCawley of Texas, Kenneth McCawley, Fayetteville, and James McCawley, Fort Smith; two brothers, Robert MeGarrah, El Centro, Calif., and Earl McGarrah, Springdale; and one grandchild.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in McCord Cemetery with the Rev. Mary McCawley officiating. Burial will he under the direction of Nelson Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
