HINDSVILLE — Theo McGarrah, age 76, of Hindsville, Ark., died March 9, 2012, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born Oct. 7, 1935, in Lowell, Ark., the son of Harvey and Elsie Wolf McGarrah.

He was of the Pentecostal faith, had previously owned and operated a meat processing business and had worked as a meat cutter at Harps Food Store. Mr. McGarrah enioyed playing gospel music and gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Velma Kelly McGarrah, of the home; one son: Larry Theo McGarrah of Hindsville; four daughters: Patty Holland of Cave Springs; Brenda Cain and her husband Michael, of Bentonville; Beverly Stephens of Lowell; and Marsha McGarrah of Lowell; one brother: John McGarrah of Missouri; two sisters: Flossie Taylor of Rogers and Mary Morrison of Oregon; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Revival Tabernacle Church in Springdale with Rev. Paul Eden and Rev. Jimmy Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 12 p.m. on Tuesday at the church until service time.

Pallbearers will be Brent McQuiston, Lance Marshall, Chad Marshall and Morino Galibao.
