Juanita Smith, 88, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away October 25, 2015. She was born October 20, 1927, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to the late Olie H. and Bessie (Russell) Porter. Juanita was the founder and owner of the Three Pines Restaurant and was the co-owner of Smith Brother Grocery Store for 12 years. Juanita is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Smith; daughters, Linda Smith, Cheryl Fauhl; sisters, Mildred Lowder, Opal Hilbert, and Pauline Smith. Survivors include her son, Terry Smith (Debbie); brother-in-law, John Smith; sisters, Jerri Harrison; step-sister, Jennie Trott; grandchildren, Memory Smith Moses, Stephanie Milroy (Terry), Sherry Speer; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Morning Star Cemetery with Bro. Scott Culpepper officiating. Pallbearers will be Terry Milroy, Danny Watts, Steve Watts, Russell Harrison, Jim Lucas, and John Smith. Honorary pallbearers include Daylyn Bellamy, Joe Newell, Danny Padgett, Liar’s Club at the Three Pines Restaurant, and the staff at Village Springs Health and Rehab.
