Linda Lee Cole passed away on January 6, 2024 at the age of 79. Linda was born February 7, 1944 at Naval Base Coronado, California to L.L. (Abe) and Betty Lincoln.
Linda was a graduate of Sparks’ School of Nursing and worked in the nursing profession for 30 years. She was Head Nurse at the Sparks’ Coronary Unit in Fort Smith and the Washington Regional’s Intensive Care Unit in Fayetteville. She retired in 1998 from the Arkansas Department of Health where she was Area Nursing Supervisor for the nine northwest counties.
Linda is survived by her husband, James Cole; three children, Scott Love, David Love and wife Cynthia, and Amanda Volk; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
No funeral services will be held. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at the Farmington United Methodist Church located at 355 Southwinds Road, Farmington, AR from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 20, 2024.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Washington Regional Hospice for their help in caring for Linda during such a trying time.
