FAYETTEVILLE — Jo Ann Cole, 62, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009, in Fayetteville. She was born Sept. 2, 1946, in Lubbock, Texas, the daughter of E.V. and Lois Vickers Cole.
She was a guidance counselor at Decision Point and a loving mother and friend to all.
Survivors include two sons, Robbin "Bo" Burkham of Fayetteville, Jerry "Jamie" Burkham of Amarillo, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Shari Burkham, of Amarillo, Texas, a son-in-law, Brent Carroll of Fayetteville; her mother, Lois Cole of Amarillo; a sister, Sherry Jones of Amarillo; and a brother, Lee Cole of Denver, Colo.; and a grandson, Donavan Wainright of Fort Hood, Texas. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jordan Ann Burkham; her father, L.V. Cole; and her sister, Barbara Waiknis.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Decision Point, 301 Holcomb Ave., Springdale.
