Mrs. Lucy H. Martin, 79, Urbana, died Saturday afternoon in a local hospital after a brief illness. Born August 5, 1886, at Hampton, she had been a resident of Urbana for the past 34 years. She was a member of the Knowles Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Theo Drummond, Urbana; three sons, C. T. Martin, Urbana, Benny Martin, Strong, sand Clyde Martin, Chalmette, La.; 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Noles Chapel Baptist Church, the Rev. Harrell Diffie officiating. Burial was in the Dunn Cemetery near Hampton, Ark. Pallbearers were Darrel Avant, Nelson Adams, Earl Molsbee, C. L. Gaskin, Armon Henry and Pete Mayhue. (El Dorado Times - January 24, 1966)
