Edgar Allen Martin, 90, of Harrell died Sunday May 17, 2009 at his home. Born August 6, 1918 at Harrell, he was a son of the late W.A. and Mae Etta Johnson Martin. Mr. Martin was a retired logger and a member of the First United Methodist Church at Harrell. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Anna Lou Martin, Willie Mae Pederson, Virginia Clark and one brother, Earl Martin. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Nutt Martin of Harrell; one son, Jimmy Martin and his wife, Sharon of Harrell; two grandchildren, Jeremy Martin of Harrell and Megan Martin of Monticello. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Harrell First United Methodist Church with Rev. Buddy Hamner and Rev.
