Minnie Wooten Wilson, 96, of Gentry, Ark., died Jan. 21, 2008, at her residence.
Born Sept. 15, 1911, in North Little Rock, Ark., she was the daughter of William Fredrick. Simcoe and Jessie Lewis Simcoe. She lived most of her life in Little Rock until 2003, when she moved to Gentry. She was a member of Hunter United Methodist Church, Little Rock, and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, James Royce Wilson and wife Dianne of Siloam Springs, Ark.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with Pastor Daniel Wilson officiating.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Little Rock. Arrangements are under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Inc., Siloam Springs.
