Mary Frances Mitchell was the daughter of Dr. Alphonso Franklin Mitchell and Sarah Ann Phillips, she was born in Eld Dorado, Arkansas. She was first married to James F. Holt and they had one child together named Minnie Holt. Her second husband was Robert M. Wilson.
