Frances Carlton Taylor, 85 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Magnolia.
She was born on March 9, 1926 in Elmore City, Oklahoma to the late George Richard and Ethel Sarah (Duncan) Carlton. She worked as a Psychiatric Technician in California and Oklahoma before retiring and was a member of the College View Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Geneva Taylor Mills; two brothers, Alvin "Dinger" Carlton and Wilburn "Wib" Carlton; and three sisters, Letha Powell, Zettie Westreicker, and Ruth Dobbins.
Frances is survived be her husband Vilas "Val" Taylor of Magnolia; a daughter, Vonda Dees and husband James of Magnolia; two brothers, Roy Carlton and wife Betty of Yucca, Arizona, George Carlton and wife Lou of Wynnewood, Oklahoma; four sisters, Roxie Dean of Blue Ridge, Texas, Geraldine "Judy" Williams of Moore, Oklahoma, Emily Lynn of Elmore City, Oklahoma, and Hazel Clark and husband Jerry of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three grandsons, Mike Dees and wife Sandy of Mineral Springs, Arkansas, Randy Dees and wife Monica of Magnolia, and Tommy Mills of Hayward, California; one granddaughter, Valerie Ann Mills of Hayward; three great grandsons, Steven Dees of Mineral Springs, Brayden and Jesse Dees both of Magnolia; two great granddaughters, Jessica Dees Miller and husband Josh and Taylor Elizabeth Dees both of Magnolia; and one great great granddaughter, McKinliegh Jane Miller of Magnolia.
A graveside service will be Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11: 00 am Antioch East Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Visitation with the family will be Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the College View Baptist Church Building Fund.
