June 24, 2008, in Fort Smith. She was 89 years old. Ms. Jones was born in 1919, in Greenwood(Sebastian County), Arkansas. She was a retired manager for Boston Store(Ft. Smith), a member of St. Paul Methodist Church, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star-Mena Chapter#243, a member of the United Methodist Women of St. Paul's Methodist Church, and a member of "Pathfinders" Sunday School Class.
Ms. Jones was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by a daughter: Shirley Norman of Charleston, Arkansas; a son: Lee Griffin of San Diego, California; four wonderful grandchildren; and 9 precious great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held on Friday, June 28, 2008, at 10:30a.m. in the St. Paul Methodist Church.
Pallbearers were: Herman and Eugene Norvel, Charles, John and Joel Granderson, and Scott Cabel.
