October 22, 1976 - July 14, 2012
Matthew Munroe Griffin, 35, of Sherwood, AR went to meet his Lord and Savior on July 14, 2012.
He was born October 22, 1976 in Fort Smith, AR to Milton M. and Diana R. Sebastion Griffin.
He was of the Baptist faith and an avid Soldier for Christ. During his lifetime he enjoyed sports, horses, family, friends, and the Cardinals Baseball Team but most of all serving his Lord. The depth of sorrow and sense of loss being felt by all his family and friends cannot be expressed in words. Our request for all is that you reach out to your own loved ones and hug them tightly for we never know when someone we cherish and love will be gone too soon.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Jenny Griffin of the home; one precious daughter Leah Griffin; his parents, Diana Walker of Mabelvale, AR; Milton and wife Pamela Griffin of Greenwood; two brothers, Marcus Griffin and wife Brandy of Greenwood and Milt Griffin and wife Kassy of Fort Smith; grandparents, Mary Sebastion of Fort Smith and Charles & Donnia Griffin of Fort Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Ashlyn Griffin and grandfather, A.E. Sebastion.
A Celebration of his life will be Friday, July 20, 2012 at 10:00 am in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Scott Mantooth, David McElroy, Tom Griffin, T.J. Griffin, Dennis Wiedekind, Tom Scott, Alan Sebastion, and Jerry Mantooth.
