Bettye Harper, 85, of El Dorado, AR, formerly of West Monroe, LA passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023 at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, AR

Bettye was born October 26, 1937 in Holly Ridge, LA to the union of Charlie Flowers and Elizabeth Stansell Flowers

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Carolyn Barnes.

Betty was a former employee of the Social Security Administration and a member of West Side Baptist Church in El Dorado, AR

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Alton “Al” Harper, one daughter, Marsha Snell and husband Rick, one son, Scott Harper and wife Kim, two sisters, Myrtle Allen, Martha Powell, five grandchildren, Scott Snell and wife Britney, Todd Snell, Kate Cox and husband Keith, Jordan White and husband Cameron, and Cameron Harper, three great grandchildren, Logan Snell, Colson White, Harper White

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2023 at West Side Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2023 at West Side Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Snell and Rev. David Voss officiating. Interment will be in the Wyatt-Parnell Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR.

The family requests any planned memorials be made to West Side Baptist Church Benevolent Fund.
