Ginger Lynn Counts, 48, of Van Buren, AR died on Monday, February 14, 2011 in a local hospital. She was a waitress at the former Ginger Tree Restaurant. She attended both The Current Church in Van Buren, and Harvest Time Tabernacle in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her son Justin Jones. Memorial service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel; the family will visit with friends following the service. Survivors include her daughter Destiny Willhite of Fort Smith, AR; one son, Brandon Atwell and his wife Crystal of Chester, AR; her mother and father Norma and Billy Ray Counts of Van Buren, AR, one brother, Billy Ray Counts, Jr. and his wife Mary of Van Buren, AR; one sister Fawn R. Brown of Van Buren, AR and five grandchildren Bethany, Nathan Atwell of Chester, AR, Paige Sullivan of Van Buren, AR and Ashley and Joshua Jones of Van Buren, AR Cremation is under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
