Melba Carson, 80, of Fort Smith, AR. entered into rest on Friday, January 29, 2010 in Fort Smith, AR. She was born February 4, 1929 in Fort Smith, AR.
She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, She was retired from ABF and a former financial officer or 10 years at North Side High School and 5 years at Darby Jr. High School.
She was the widow of the late Bob Carson.
Survivors are her two sons, Stephen and wife Clay Carson of Fort Smith, AR. and Cliff and wife Ruth Carson of Fort Smith, AR., one brother, Eddie Banard of Fort Smith, AR. and two grandchildren, Gavin and Clayton Carson.
Funeral service was Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at St. Paul United Methodist Church with interment at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, AR.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR.
