Dora Lee Shirley, 81, of Jacksonville died Monday, December 5, 2005 in Cabot. Mrs Shirley was born March 10, 1924 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to the late Claude B. and Bessie Buchanan Cole. She was a Home Health Aide for the Pulaski County Counsel on Aging as well as a member of the Lifetime Tabernacle in Furlow.
Mrs Shirley is survived by one daughter Margaret Lovell, and her husband Charles, of Jacksonville. One brother, Earl Cole of Big Springs, Texas, and one sister, Ruth Lantrip of Jacksonville, one grandson, Eddie Lovell, and his wife Loree, of Powder Spring, Georgia also survive her as well as two great grandchildren, Tanya Lovell of Austin and Alex Lovell of Powder Spring, Georgia.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 8, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Stanfield Baptist Church in Jacksonville with Brother Ron Raines officiating. Burial will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery.
