Billie Hue Dove Bryant 85, a resident of Junction City, LA passed peacefully from this life on December 10, 2022. Billie Hue was born May 1, 1937, in Natchitoches, LA to the late Mamie Boren Dove and James Curtis Dove. She graduated from Smackover High School in Smackover AR.
Billie Hue was a member of First Baptist Church in Junction City.
Billie Hue was a homemaker for many years but worked as a bank teller at the First Bank of Junction City as well. She enjoyed cooking, painting and arts and crafts. She was an accomplished decorator.
Billie Hue was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Don Edwin Bryant, sister Betty Sue Hanry, sister in law Carolyn Laney, daughter Terrylee McDonald and a special niece Tracy Dove Hanry.
Those left to cherish her memory include one son Don Kevin Bryant, one daughter Gay Upshaw husband Douglas, one son-in-law Leonard McDonald Jr, one brother Douglas Dove wife Diana, one sister Sharron Smith husband Billy Smith, brothers-in-law Billy Wayne Laney and Jim Hanry. 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends including Joy Darr (husband Butch) beloved cousin and friend.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Junction City, with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Bro. Marcell McGee will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
