Myrtle Daniels Murphy, 88, of Junction City, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012, at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was born May 14, 1923, to Dempse and Ola Cameron Lee in Junction City, AR.

She was a member of that First Baptist Church in Junction City, a school bus driver for the Junction City School District, and a homemaker.

Preceding her in death are her parents; two husbands, Thomas L. Daniels, Henry Murphy; two sons,

Ronnie L. Daniels, Tommy Daniels; three brothers, Don Lee, Haward Lee, Lloyd Lee; and one sister, Clara Thompson.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Barbara Daniels of Junction City, LA; grandson, Shane Daniels (Melanie) of El Dorado; granddaughter, Meagan Jean (Seth) of Magnolia; nephew, Chris Thompson (Brenda) of Redding, CA; and four nieces, Pam Atwood (Chris) of Redding, CA, Brenda Reddick (Marty) of Elgin, IL, Gloria Jean Coker, of Fort Mitchell, AL, and Sue Ellen Castleberry of Jonesboro, AR.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, in the fellowship hall of the First Baptist Church in Junction City.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at the First Baptist Church in Junction City with Rev. Buddy Boatright and Bro. Milton Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
