OWEN, C.W. - C.W. Owen, landlord of the Tourist Hotel, died Tuesday night at the hotel. He came to this country for his health and had been in poor health for some time. Funeral services were held at the hotel yesterday afternoon at four o'clock and interment was in the Rogers cemetery. The deceased came here from Memphis last spring and was 51 years, ten months and fifteen days old. His family here consisted of his wife and two boys, but a married daughter was called here by his sickness and death. Mr. Owen had made a very favorable impression upon our people during his short residence here and they were grieved to learn of his death. The bereaved family have the sympathy of all.
