Pat W. Long, 87 of Norphlet, AR; died on November 7, 2020 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, AR.
Born in Norphlet, Arkansas on June 7, 1933; he was the son of Kenneth and Gladys Blythe Long. Pat was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Norphlet serving as a Sunday School Teacher for over 50 years and as a Deacon. Pat was a co-owner of Long Brothers Oil Company. He served in the Army and was stationed in Korea.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Joffre Long and David ‘Blue’ Long, a sister Lita Faye Lum, an infant daughter Lori Ann Long and a son George Long.

Survivors are his spouse of 63 years Bonnie Edith Brown Long, a daughter Debbie (Scott) Carter of Norphlet, two brothers Lindy Long (Imogene) and Kenneth "Doc" Long of Camden, grandchildren Seth (Heather) Carter of Fayetteville, Jake (Samantha) Carter of Norphlet, Sarah Liz (Austin) Mitchell of Conway, along with great grandchildren Will Carter, Luke Carter, Savannah Mitchell, Selah Carter and the anticipated birth of Micah Mitchell.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 10, 2020 from 1 pm to 2 pm at the First Baptist Church of Norphlet. Followed by services at 2 pm with Rev. Doug Wills and Rev. Gerald Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Garden by Young’s Funeral Directors. In keeping with CDC Covid 19 guidelines please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Norphlet, 201 S Main St., Norphlet, AR 71759.
