Elizabeth Martin Walters, 83, of Hamburg, died Friday, October 23, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Walters was a native and lifelong resident of Hamburg. She was a retired Public Health Technician for the Ashley County Health Department and a member of the Martinville Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Walters in 1991; two sons, Billy Faye Walters in 1993 and Lonnie Walters in 2010; a grandson, Michael Bilbo in 2007; a great-grandson, Wesley Bilbo in 2011; her parents, John Jay and Bessie Churchill Martin and a sister, June Martin.

She is survived by four sons, Ronnie Walters, Sammy Walters and wife Mary Helen, all of Hamburg, John Wesley Walters and wife, Rita, of Fountain Hill and Thomas Walters and wife, Sharon, of Hamburg; three daughters, Elaine Carter of Seligman, Missouri, Kathy Barfield and husband, Jim, and Teresa Pilgrim and husband, Tommy, all of Hamburg; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Walters of Smackover; 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the Martinville Baptist Church with Bro. Edward Gulledge officiating. Burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery. Pallbearers are Chris Walters, Travis Mann, Glen Walters, Bubby Mashburn, Nick Bilbo and Jimbo Barfield. Honorary pallbearers are Freddie Martin, Bobby Martin and John Herbert Martin.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday at the church.
