Danny R. Hayes, 72, of El Dorado passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021. He was born June 12, 1948 to Alvin Enoch and Mary Elizabeth Braswell Hayes in El Dorado, AR.
He was a graduate of Southern State University, and retired from Lion Oil, where he worked as a Supervisor Application Programmer. Danny was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing golf, walking, running and fishing.

Preceding him in death are his parents; son, Richard Allen “Richie” Hayes; brother, John "Tommy" Hayes; and sister, Mary Sue Tucker.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 36 years, Terry Parker Hayes; daughter, Dana Porter (James); grandchildren, Kacie Hayes McAdams (Matt), Jarred Allen Hayes, Riley Alexandra Stone, Reed Hayes Stone; all of El Dorado; sister, Sandra K. Ballard (Richard) of Lawson; great grandchildren, Jenna, Drake, and Cameron McAdams; sister-in-law, Doris Hayes of El Dorado; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm Friday, January 29, 2021 at Young’s Funeral Directors.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30, at Young’s Chapel with Rev. Terry Upchurch officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.

Memorials may be made to the John R. Williamson Hospice House, 2301 Champagnolle Rd., El Dorado, AR 71730.
