John ''Johnny'' Clifton, 81, of Conway, Arkansas passed away March 28, 2022. He was born January 16, 1941 to the late John Waverly Clifton and Inza Ellzey. He retired as a Mill Right from Green Bay Packaging in Morrilton, Arkansas.Johnny was preceded in death by his parents; by his baby brother James Waverly, Jr. and sister Mae Ellen Williams as well as brother-in-law Duane Starr and daughter-in-law Connie Clifton. Johnny married Terry in October of 1988. They built and enjoyed a wonderful life filled with love, life, friends, and family. Some of his fondest memories and greatest of times was spending time with them doing activities such as camping, hunting, and riding in the jeep through the mountains. He loved traveling. Other fond memories included traveling out west with his friends. He loved to fish and played a great game of Dominoes. He enjoyed family night card games with his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed Razorback baseball games. He loved those Hogs! Johnny was a good man, a gentle soul. His demeanor was kind. He was sweet, loved a good joke, and loved to tell a good joke. Most of all, Johnny was a good husband, good dad, and grandfather.He is survived by his wife Terry, his sons John Clifton, Jr., Kevin Clifton, Mark ''Boog'' Rowlett (Shellie); his daughters Missy Snowden (Robbie) and Joely Costello; his grandchildren Candace Bartrow (Nathan), Hunter Clifton, Ian Clifton, Meredith Clifton, Kyle Clifton, Shelby Snowden, Cody (Beth) Rowlett, Magan Rowlett, and Sadie Costello. Also left to cherish his memory are his great grandchildren: Eli Clifton, Selah Clifton, Tinley Rowlett, Cash Rowlett, and Austin Paul Martin; his sister Patsy Starr and brother-in-law Robert T. ''Bob'' Williams.A visitation will be held Thursday March, 31 at 1:00pm at the Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Greenbrier, Arkansas with services immediately following at 2:00pm. Internment will take place at Spring Hill Cemetery in Spring Hill, Arkansas.
