BELLA VISTA — Jack LeRoy Cunningham, 89, of Bella Vista died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Bentonville. He was born July 25, 1925, in Salt Lake City Utah, the son of Hazel Close and Roy Joseph Cunningham.

He earned his honorable discharge from the United States Navy after serving in World War II. He was a mechanic for over 45 years at Rancho Chevrolet in Reseda, Calif.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa E. Cunningham; two sons, Tim Cunningham and his wife, Gloria, of Bella Vista, Jack Cunningham and his wife, Dena, of Knoxville, Tenn.; one brother, Gene Cunningham, Temecula, Calif.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be Friday, Dec. 12, 2014, at 10 a.m. at National Cemetery in Fayetteville. Full military honors will be provided by the Northwest Arkansas Honor Guard.

BELLA VISTA — Theresa E. Cunningham, 90, daughter of David Nemback and Dora Koerner, passed away May 25 in Bentonville. She was born Jan. 22, 1927, in San Fernando, Calif.

She is survived by two sons: Tim Cunningham of Bella Vista and Jack Cunningham of Tennessee, four grandchildren: Jason, Kristin, Ayrin, Victoria, five great-grandchildren: Kohdy, Kevin, Blake, Landan, Brayden.

Theresa was a telephone operator who changed jobs to become a purchasing agent for the Veterans Authority in Sepuveda, Calif., until retirement. After retirement she and her husband moved to Knoxville, Tenn., then to Bella Vista. She was a loving wife, nurturing mother and devoted friend. She is with the Lord and will be greatly missed by those she left behind.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jack. Theresa's ashes will be placed with her husband's at National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark.
