Tulsa, Oklahoma Juanita M. Guss, 96 entered God's heavenly home Sunday, March 27th, 2022 while being cared for at son, Douglas Guss's home. Born September 28th, 1925, Decatur, Arkansas; she was the wife of Elbert F. Guss, married on June 27th, 1947, in Columbus, Kansas. She retired from St. Johns Medical Center, in Tulsa after more than 40 years of service. She was a graduate of Colcord High School, Colcord, Oklahoma in 1945. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, to many nephews and nieces.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley,(Guss) Clemons and husband, Larry, son, Douglas F. Guss, and partner Rick Bartholomew, sister, Joyce Tosh, brothers, LB Amos and Earl Neil Amos, five grandsons, Scott Clemons and wife, Kris, Aaron Clemons and wife, Alicia, Brian Teutsch and wife Sheri, Zachary, Teutsch and Jared Guss. Great-grand daughters, Ciara, Marissa, Ellen, Allison, and Addison; great-grandsons, Riley and Cason. Sister in law, June Amos, Pat Amos, Donna Ruth Garrett and many more nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by husband, Elbert F. Guss, daughter, Gloria Jean Teutsch, son, James Keith Guss, son in law, William Teutsch, parents, Frank and Estelle Amos, sister, Betty Hughes and husband Harold, brothers Danny Amos, Francis (Pap) Amos and wife, Eva Jane, Harold Amos, ID Amos and wife, Francis, Ervin Amos, sister in law Anne Amos, Mary Amos, Bobbye Amos and brother in law Jim Tosh.
Celebration of life will be conducted at Falling Springs Church, at Falling Springs, Arkansas on April 5th, 2022 at 2:00pm by grandson Aaron Clemons and burial will be at the Decatur Cemetery in Decatur, Arkansas following the service.
