Betty Jo Scott, 86, of Searcy, went to be with the Lord October 16, 2019 at her residence. She was born July 16, 1933 at Albion to the late Benjamin and Rosa West Martin.
Mrs. Scott was a loving dedicated wife and mother who was hard working, kind, loving, and ever so faithful. She was one of the first White County Fair Queens as well as Ms. Pangburn. In addition to raising four children, she worked alongside her husband in the furniture business for over 50 years.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by two brothers, L.F. and Robert Martin and a son, Ronnie Scott.

She married James Paul Scott on March 21, 1954 at Tunica, Mississippi; he survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Paula Scott of Searcy; two sons, Mike Scott (Lisa) and Tim Scott (Teresa) both of Searcy; seven grandchildren, Tyler and Meagan Scott, Lauren Landers (David), Leah Grimes (Brandon), Hanna Jo Scott, Blaine Fowler (Brittany), Kaley Willis; eight great-grandchildren, Ransom Watson, Kaylei Scott, Sadie Landers, Dakota, Kayden, and Bentlee Grimes, Elexis Willis, Robert Norman, and Luke Fowler; and one sister, Pam Neighbors (David) of Pangburn.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Sullivan Funeral Care with funeral services at 11:00 a.m. in the Sullivan Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn.
