April 12, 1948 - November 21, 2017
Matt Floyd, age 69, of McJester, Arkansas, passed away November 23, 2017. Born April 12, 1948 in McJester, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Ed and Sarah Scoggin Floyd.
Matt was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. He was a retired truck driver and enjoyed his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Theodore Floyd, his sister Anna Bell Hill and his son Matthew Floyd.
He is survived by his children Christopher Floyd, Jessica Talley, Theresa Ramsey and Alyssa Floyd, his sisters Nellie Jackson, Sylvia O'Donley, Dorothy Haile, Linda Lathrop, Louise McDaniel and Eloise Kelbacher , his brother Jimmy Floyd and 5 grandchildren. Mr. Floyd is also survived by his other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Olmstead Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the McJester Baptist Church with Bro. John Cates officiating. Interment will be in Henderson Cemetery.

February 15, 1979 - August 20, 1994
Matthew was taken from us much too soon. We miss him dearly! He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Ed and Sarah Scoggin-Floyd. His Grandfather Robert L. Poe has passed since then. Matthew is survived by his Grandmother, Dorothy Kuklinski-Poe, his parents Mat and Susan Poe-Floyd, a brother, Christopher Lane Floyd and three sisters, Jessica Marie Floyd-Talley(Bryan), Theresa Susan Marie Floyd-Ramsey(Steven)and Alyssa Marie Floyd. Since his passing, he now has 2 nephews and 2 nieces.
